  1. A gem of a museum is tucked away in 186 Gwydir St, Cambridge: The David Parr House. David Parr was a working class interior decorative artist who implemented the designs of the leading architects and designers of the day, including William Morris and George Fredrick Bodley. He also spent 40 years intricately decorating his own modest home in the manner of the grand interiors he worked on. Preserved by his family, David’s home sits like a time capsule and testament to the Arts and Crafts movement.

Creating products for the museum gift shop was a lovely project to work on. The brief was to utilise David’s strong designs whist retaining the authenticity and patina of the original drawing. In this case, we chose a digital print method to meet the brief and designed the packing in keeping with the museums branding. Everyone was extremely pleased with the result.

  2. Our latest range of gifts are now for sale exclusively in St Paul's Cathedral Shop. This is this first range that we have commissioned exclusively for a specific venue. But how did it come about?

Everyone recognises the iconic dome of St Paul's Cathedral, London. But did you know that on the same site previously stood medieval Old St Paul's which, when built, was the longest and tallest church in the Christian world?

St Paul's Cathedral commissioned world reknown artist, Ed Kluz, to create a bespoke artwork celebrating the forgotten history of St Paul's. As a part of this process, Ed and I had the privilege of being shown around the fascinating hidden parts St Paul's Cathedral, to understand more about the building's history and architecture. A pile of ancient carved stone's caught Ed's eye. We discovered these to be the only surviving remnants of mediaeval Old St Pauls. Ed was inspired to create this classic design, which we nicknamed Old Stones.

Ed Kluz: "The collection of near abstract shapes in the design depict fragments of tracery of a vast gothic window, pieces of Corinthian capitals and a lion's face: glimpses of a forgotten past of this once magnificent building."

We have printed the design on a bag, cushion cover, tea towel, mugs, notebook and pencils. Now you can have a bit of medieval St Paul's to treasure too.
